Creative work requires clarity, trust, and structure. These Service Terms and Conditions outline the standards that protect the integrity of the process, the vision behind the work, and the experience of collaboration. Entering this agreement reflects a shared commitment to professionalism, respect, and intentional creation
Creative Direction & Artistic Discretion
All creative services are delivered based on Diamond Standard Media’s professional judgment, artistic perspective, and creative process. By engaging services, the client acknowledges that creative interpretation, pacing, composition, and stylistic decisions are guided by the provider’s expertise.
While client input is welcomed and considered, Diamond Standard Media retains final creative discretion to ensure the work aligns with the intended vision, quality standards, and brand integrity established at the outset of the project.
Usage Rights & Intellectual Property
All creative materials, including but not limited to raw footage, project files, timelines, and working files, remain the sole property of Diamond Standard Media unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.
Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final delivered assets for their intended purpose as outlined in the agreed scope of work.
Raw footage, project files, and editable timelines are not included by default and may only be released if explicitly purchased or agreed upon in writing.
Diamond Standard Media retains the right to use completed work for portfolio, promotional, and educational purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Revisions & Approval Process
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as outlined in the agreed scope of work. Revisions are intended to refine the existing edit, such as minor adjustments to timing, sequencing, text, or color.
Requests that introduce new creative direction, additional concepts, or changes beyond the original scope may be treated as additional services and subject to additional fees.
The client agrees to review and provide consolidated feedback within the designated review window to maintain project momentum. Once revisions are approved or the review window has passed without response, the project will be considered finalized.
Project Timelines & Client Responsibilities
Project timelines are estimated based on the agreed scope of work and commence once all required materials, access, and information are received from the client. Timely communication and feedback are essential to maintaining delivery schedules.
The client agrees to provide requested materials, approvals, and feedback within the designated timeframes. Delays in communication or missed deadlines may result in extended delivery timelines without penalty to Diamond Standard Media.
Diamond Standard Media is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside of its control, including but not limited to late client responses, changes in scope, or third-party platform limitations.
Music & Digital Asset Licensing
All music, sound design, and digital assets used within client projects are sourced from licensed or royalty-free libraries through paid professional subscriptions. These assets are selected and assigned for use within the final delivered content only.
Licenses do not extend to the extraction, reuse, redistribution, or resale of music or digital assets independent of the completed work.
Any exclusive or licensed assets assigned to a client will be delivered within their designated project folder and cleared solely for the scope of use outlined in the agreement.
File Retention & Archiving
Diamond Standard Media retains project files and final deliverables for a limited period following project completion. Clients are responsible for downloading and securely storing their files upon delivery.
Long-term storage of project files, including raw footage and working files, is not guaranteed unless otherwise agreed in writing. Requests for file retrieval after the retention period may be subject to availability and additional fees.
Respect, Boundaries & Termination
All engagements are expected to be conducted with professionalism, mutual respect, and clear communication. Diamond Standard Media reserves the right to pause or terminate services if boundaries are repeatedly disregarded, communication becomes hostile or inappropriate, or the working relationship compromises the integrity of the collaboration.
In the event of termination due to client conduct, all fees paid remain non-refundable, and Diamond Standard Media retains ownership of all unfinished or unreleased work unless otherwise required by law.
