FAQ + Studio Policies

01. Booking + Inquiries
All projects start through the contact form on my website..  not DMs.
That form gives me the details I need to understand your brand, your goals, and the kind of visuals you’re envisioning.

Once it’s submitted, expect a reply within 48 hours with next steps, availability, and your call link or project quote.

02. Deposits + Payments
A non-refundable deposit secures your shoot date and holds your spot on the calendar.
This isn’t just policy.. it’s a shared commitment to the work and your vision.

Payments are processed through HoneyBook and Stripe only.. no CashApp, Venmo, or side transactions.
Structure keeps both of us protected.

03. Events + Travel
Yes I travel for shoots, speaking engagements, and branded events.
Each event project is customized depending on the scope, timeline, and location.

If travel is required outside of San Diego County, accommodations, transportation, and meals must be covered by the client (or included within the final project quote).
This ensures the experience remains seamless.. no last min surprises or logistical stress.

Truth from experience: Great content comes from presence, not pressure.
Covering travel and stay allows me to focus on capturing your event with intention, not exhaustion.

For destination events, I’ll send a detailed travel itinerary proposal before confirming your date ..  transparency always comes first.

04. Reschedules + Cancellations
Life happens but communication matters.
If you need to reschedule, I ask for a minimum of 7 days’ notice.

Your deposit can be transferred once to a new date within 30 days (with proper notice).
Cancellations made under 7 days will forfeit the deposit.

05. Turnaround Time
Turnaround varies based on the project scope, but you can expect:

Short-Form Content: 7–14 days

Brand Films / Multi-Scene Projects: 3–4 weeks

Event Recaps: 3–5 weeks depending on footage volume

If there’s ever a delay, I’ll communicate it directly

06. Revisions
Each project includes a complimentary two round of revisions.
Additional edits are billed hourly.
Clear direction at the start helps us nail your vision faster — and keep momentum flowing.

07. Communication Boundaries
Everything lives inside HoneyBook.. your shared home base for all messages, contracts, and deliverables.

DMs and texts tend to get lost, and I’ve learned that clear communication keeps the process aligned and professional.

08. Footage Ownership + Licensing
You receive full usage rights to your final edited deliverables for marketing and social media.
Raw footage remains the creative property of Diamond Standard Media unless we’ve discussed otherwise.

Raw file purchase options are available upon request, with additional licensing and storage fees.

Why this matters: Protecting creative assets keeps your brand consistent and cinematic.

09. Collaboration + Direction
Bring your ideas.. seriously.
The best visuals are a blend of your vision and my creative direction.
I’ll always lead with intention, but my priority is that your final product feels like you.
